Our purpose is to be more than books. We advocate for literacy and a love of knowledge while strengthening community relationships through education, collaboration and connection.

 

We offer safe, welcoming spaces for all, diverse resources, creative programming and beneficial services.

Who We Serve

 

The library serves the communities of the Mt. Washington Valley. This includes residents of the towns of North Conway, Conway, Center Conway, South Conway, Kearsarge, Redstone, Intervale, Glen, Bartlett, Jackson, Hale's Location, Hart's Location, Chatham, Albany, Eaton, Freedom, Madison, Tamworth NH and Fryeburg ME* and Brownfield ME* are eligible for free library cards.  

 

Visitors are always welcome to use the library.

Support the Library

 

Pope Memorial Library is a privately funded, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. We receive no funding from the Town of Conway, the State of New Hampshire, or the federal government. We rely on donations from patrons and friends like you.  

The North Conway Water Precinct appropriates $10,000 each year to support our programs in a warrant article. Thank you, NCWP!
